What is American Lineage?

American Lineage is a San Diego based performance apparel brand dedicated to creating clothing with performance features that fit your environment. All of our products are made in the USA using American-made fabrics.
Where are American Lineage products made?

All of our apparel is manufactured in San Diego, using domestically sourced fabrics. Unlike many “Made in USA” brands that only cut & sew or simply "print" or "decorate" domestically. We take it further by using American-made fabrics, supporting both cut & sew manufacturing and the textile industry.
What makes American Lineage different from other performance brands?

We focus on more than just function, we build with integrity. American Lineage is vertically integrated, sourcing and producing within the U.S. to support the domestic textile industry from mill to manufacturing. Every garment is cut and sewn in San Diego, reflecting our commitment to quality, transparency and American craftsmanship.

What is performance clothing?

Performance clothing is designed to work as hard as you do. It’s made from advanced fibers that are lightweight, durable, and engineered for comfort. These fabrics wick moisture, dry quickly, stretch for ease of movement, and resist shrinking and wrinkling. Many also help conceal visible moisture, keeping you looking composed in any environment.
What fabrics do you use?

We use U.S. milled performance fabrics made entirely in the USA, knitted or woven domestically for quality and consistency. Some our fabrics meet Berry-compliant standards, ensuring American-made integrity from fiber to finish.
Are your shirts athletic or casual fit?

Our tees are athletic-tailored for a balanced fit: relaxed through the body, form-fitting in the arms and designed to move freely.
